Being Intentional And Living Your Life

posted in: Self - Help 0

Being intentional and living your life to the fullest is an interesting topic, isn’t it? In today’s busy world full of distractions and a race for more and more material wealth, we often find that something is missing. No matter how hard we work, how much money we have in the bank, how big our house is, and how fancy of a car we drive, it never quite seems to be enough. That’s because we’re busy chasing the wrong things and focusing on the wrong stuff to live a happy and fulfilled life.

“Being Intentional and Living Your Life To The Fullest” is about helping you step out of this way of life and embracing one that will bring you happiness and fulfillment. Does this mean that you have to give up your secure job with health benefits and your cozy home? Of course not. Instead, it’s about making small changes and shifts in both perception and action to bring more meaning to your life. Think of it as a short guide to help you figure out what it means to live more intentionally and then figure out what specifically this means for you.

Along the way, I’ll make you think about what you value, what’s working right now, and what isn’t. There will be plenty of opportunities for reflection and of course chances to make changes in how you live your life. While there is no magic pill, as you’ll discover in chapter two, there are plenty of simple tweaks and changes you can make that will improve your quality of life and that of those around you.

While we will mainly focus on you throughout this guide, you don’t live in a bubble. The changes you make by living more intentional, no matter how subtle they may be, will influence the people around you and close to you. I hope that it will have a positive impact on your relationship with loved ones.

Above all, I encourage you to use this guide to change your own life for the better. Use it to make you think about living with more purpose. Use it to look at what you do in all areas of your life with fresh eyes. Use it to live your life to the fullest and make every minute count. There is nothing better or more important than a life lived well.

I would like to encourage you to also take a look at the workbook that compliments this guide. Use it as you work through the guide and beyond. It is very helpful to write your intentions down and it’s always fascinating and encouraging to be able to look back at how far you’ve come. Start with this guide, use the workbook, and most importantly make it your mission to put what you’re learning to good use and lead a happier life.  We’ll start by taking a look at what it means to be intentional and how it affects your life in a multitude of ways. Then, in chapter two, I share plenty of tips, ideas, and strategies with you to live more intentionally. Feel free to pick and choose what you think will work well for you, particularly in the beginning. In the long run, I’d like to encourage you to try it all and then continue to implement and keep those things and ideas that help you live a meaningful and fulfilled life.
